From the Seller.... This farm is literally a turn-key operation. Included in the land sale are four 80X20 high tunnels, two 70X14 caterpillar tunnels, approximately 1500 healthy mature peony plants, a tunnel full of a variety of Dahlias, and numerous rows of perennial flowers, listed below. The farm is set up with an irrigation pond, the water flowing from a spring. This feeds two irrigation lines, the first is a gravity feed line that fills two 250 gallon cube holding tanks. These tanks gravity feed drip irrigation lines that water the high tunnels and caterpillars, as well as the perennial beds on the property. The second irrigation line is primarily used to water the four blocks of peony plants. A large sump pump with a timer, fills a 1500 gallon water tank, which then gravity feeds to the peony plants. The "Blue Line'' drip tape that runs through the rows of raised peony beds are equipped with pressure compensating emitters, ensuring an even distribution of water. All tall plants are supported with either 6" Horta Nova netting, or driveway markers outfitted with sliding insulators and bailing twine to hold up the plants. Included in the sale of the farm is a 1995 GMC Safari van with bucket transporting racks, a Polaris Big Boss 6 wheeler with trailer, wheelbarrow and hand tools. The 16' X 16' dry cabin has electricity, a large 12'X16' deck, and a 12'X16' car port. It is fully furnished and plumbed for water. The perimeter fencing was installed to deter moose from having easy access to the plants. In the SW corner of the fence line, a young windbreak is planted. Outside layer are Willow trees for moose browse, then a row of spruce trees for windbreak. Inside the fence is a row of lilac trees used for "woodies" in the floral industry. All along the fence are a row of over 1000 tulips. Existing perennial flowers include: Peonies: Pecher 206 Sarah Bernhardt 510 Lemon Chiffon 185 Sweet Harmony 63 Felix Supreme 93 Amelia Olson 29 My Love 129 Mothers choice 146 Florence Nicolls 60 Miscellaneous, including rare Itoh peonies, 251 Total Peonies planted 1672 Perennials: Plox 50' row Yarrow pastel mix 80' row Yarrow berries 52' row Centaurea Montana 40' row Shasta daisies 30' row Astrantia 80' row Solidago 30' row Cora Bells 15 plants Columbine 40' row Pink Petticoat Columbine 16' row Campanula blue and white 50' Feverfew 40' row Veronica 32' row Ladies Mantle 140' row New England Aster 10' row Other perennials include: Pig Squeak, Black Currants, Astilbe, Cowslip Primula, self seeding Cynoglossum, Euphorbia and Iris
